The Typography Podcast Poster assignment focused on the different ways tone could be conveyed without the use of any visuals. The goal of the assignment was to create a poster that depicted the tone of the podcast only using type. Without the use of visual aid the challenge came from how to manipulate type to create a strong solution. The first version of the podcast poster was successful in creating an accurate tone, but the spacing and type needed a bit of help. Color was altered for the body text to create clarity and another hierarchy was created in order to effectively separate the date from the deration of the episode. More breathing room between each section was used as well to prevent the poster from feeling too busy. Overall, the poster exhibits the menacing and eerie tone of the podcast.
